An outdoor shower presents a conundrum in that you want it to provide privacy but still feel open to the outdoors. A common solution is to have the shower wall stop at shoulder height and be raised at the bottom so that people’s feet are visible. Not only does this allow for an open feel, but it also maintains the life of most materials because they can air out after each shower. If you have a second floor on your house, installing a roof on the shower will further protect privacy.
